Signing of the Common Programme for the EU Elections in Luxembourg

Dearest Pirates and readers,

The Board of the European Pirate Party is happy to announce that on 9th February will the Pirate parties accross Europe meet in Luxembourg to sign the Common European Election Programme (CEEP) and officially begin the campaign for the elections to the European Parliament (EP).

The EP elections will take place on 24th-26th May 2019 and Pirates all over Europe participated in the past several months on the creation of a new CEEP. They already run with a joint programme in the EP elections in 2014. The weekend will be also filled with events the Luxembourg Pirates prepared, including speech from current Pirate member of the European Parliament, Julia Reda, or workshop for the campaign and media strategy. You are all welcome to come and join us – please just register yourself via the link below.

CEEP-Meeting in Barcelona

The next CEEP-Meeting with all working groups is in Barcelona (Spain/Catalonia) from 21st until 22nd of July, 2018.

Agenda:

– the program below focuses on one topic at a time, giving it one hour, trying to be as efficient as possible

– if one topic takes shorter amount of time, the time can be delegated to the next ones

– if the topics take longer than anticipated, there’s no need to panic, we can work on it later online, it is good to also set the course and write at least something

– during both days there can be a dedicated table for the CEEP 2014 update, with separate mumble room; if a person doesn’t have anything to say to the currently discussed topic, he/she shall transfer here. CEEP 2014 will be also discussed in a standard way at the end of Sunday

Go for Common European Elections Program (CEEP) 2019

On 25th of March 2018, a number of representatives of the PPEU member parties and other supporters met to deal with the “Common European Elections Program (CEEP)”. After all, over 20 people from 7 countries who start an important process.

Central points were organizational matters and the creation of working groups. Here we have progressed very well.

For the time being there are the following working groups to which every Pirate and supporter are invited:
