The Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament offers a fully paid internship lasting 5 months to support the public relations efforts of Pirate Members of the European Parliament.

Internship Duration:

End of September 2024 – Mid-February 2025

Our internships provide university students or graduates with the opportunity to develop their skills and familiarize themselves with the activities of the Pirate delegation. The selected intern will focus on the areas of PR, marketing, and web and social media communication, collaborating primarily with the delegation’s PR experts.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the creation of the media image of Pirate Members of the European Parliament
  • Assisting in writing press releases and social media posts
  • Conducting research, preparing materials, and providing support for various tasks
  • Assisting with event organization
  • Occasionally aiding with light administrative tasks in the office
  • Collaborating with both the Brussels and Czech teams of the Members of the European Parliament
  • Conducting media monitoring

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Proficiency in Czech at a native speaker level
  • Very good command of English (C1/C2), both written and spoken
  • Media experience is advantageous but not required
  • The applicant must not have any other employment during the internship period
  • The applicant must be a citizen of a European Union member state or a candidate/accession country (limited number of internships available to citizens of other countries)
  • The place of work is Brussels

  • Additional documents (recommendation letters, university diplomas, etc.) are not required and will not be considered at this stage. Candidates selected for the shortlist will be notified in June 2024. The evaluation team reserves the right to extend the selection process deadline.

What Happens Next?

The first round involves evaluating resumes, motivation, and previous or relevant experience.

The second round consists of practical verification of the required criteria through task completion.

The third round is an online interview.
